Does joining the Peak District microsite affect my membership to the National Trust?

No, it doesn’t. If you register for an account on the Peak District Microsite it does not affect in anyway your membership to the National Trust.

I have a membership question can you answer it on this site?

Unfortunately we can not deal with membership enquiries on this site, but you can contact our Membership enquiries team by calling 0844 800 1895 or emailing them at enquiries@thenationaltrust.org.uk

What do I do if I have forgotten my password?

If you have forgotten your password, go to the My Peak District page and click on the forgotten password link, follow the instructions on screen and we will then email you your password to the email address that you originally registered with.

I have forgotten my username?

If you forget the username that you originally signed up with, please contact us with your email address and we will be able to send you an update on your username.

I have feedback about the beta site. What do I do?

If you would like to leave feedback about the beta site, please use contact us here using the drop down box to tell us what you would like to feedback on and use the message space to tell us what you think to the site.

Someone has uploaded an inappropriate image, how can I report it?

If someone has uploaded an inappropriate image you can report this image by clicking on the report image button by the side of each image. You can then tell us why the image is inappropriate, we will temporarily remove it from our site and investigate the image.

Someone has uploaded an inappropriate review or comment, how do I report it?

You can report any comment or review on this site that you feel is inappropriate by selecting the report link by the side of the comment or review. Once you have let us know that it is inappropriate we will investigate the comment and resolve the issue.

>How do I register for the Peak District microsite?

You can register for the Peak District microsite on the My Peak District page or using the register button above. Choose your user name, enter your email address, full name, agree to our terms of use and submit. We will then send you Instructions for activating your account via email along with your account details.

Once I have registered can I then deactivate my registration if I no longer want to be a member?

If you no longer want to be a member of the Peak District National Trust website you can de-activate your account by logging in, going to your account settings and selecting the de-activate account button. However, if you no longer wish to be a member of The National Trust you can not do this online and need to speak to the membership enquiries team quoting your membership number.

If I deactivate my account on this site, does it affect my membership to the National Trust?

If you choose to no longer be a member of this site it will not affect your membership account with the National Trust. If you have enquiries about your membership please contact our membership team on 0844 800 1895 or emailing them at enquiries@thenationaltrust.org.uk

Is my email used for anything else after registration?

Your email will be only used so that we can activate your account, send you your account details and to send you account updates should you request them. As part of our moderation policy we will also use your email to contact you should any part of the images or comments you contribute to the site break our terms of use that you signed up to upon registering with this site. We will not pass on your email address to any third party partner, please see the websites privacy policy for more details.

Will the Peak District microsite be monitored for inappropriate content?

The Peak District microsite will only be monitored by users. The National Trust at its discretion will moderate content by using a reactive moderation policy.

If you have a complaint about this site or about your visit to the Peak District please contact us here and select ‘complaint’ from the drop down box. Our team will the review your complaint and get back to you as soon as possible.

Is the National Trust Government funded?

No. The National Trust is a charity completely independent of Government funding. We rely on the support of our 3.4 million members
