Geocaching is an exciting high-tech treasure hunting game played worldwide in which GPS devices are used to locate hidden containers, called geocaches. Participants can then share their experiences with fellow geocachers online at www.geocaching.com. There are 15 National Trust geocaches hidden around the Peak District, providing a new and exciting way for visitors to explore and engage with this breathtaking area. There is something for all the family including a geocaching trail around the Longshaw Estate, and more challenging geocaches around the Dark and White Peak for more advanced geocachers.
A series of 15 National Trust geocaches have been placed around the Peak District for you to find. Visit geocaching.com and search username NT Peak District for geocache coordinates, hints and information.
